AROMA – 2023
AROMA, the annual day function of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan held on 8th December, 2023 in the Gurajada Kalakshetram, Vishakhapatnam; marked a joyous moment of the year filled with a display of talent in multi dimensional fields. The event showcased the skill, creativity, and achievements of the students, encapsulating the essence of unity, celebration, and excellence.
The meticulous planning, rehearsals, and coordination proceeded the grand evening. The school administration, led by the management, along with the Principal, dedicated teachers and staff, worked tirelessly to ensure the event’s success. Rehearsals for various performances, including dances, musical performances, mime, and anchoring, were conducted, fostering a sense of discipline and teamwork among the students.
The evening commenced with a prayer, songs and mesmerizing band performance. Later, an annual report was presented by the Principal, highlighting the school’s achievements and the significance of the annual day celebration. The stage was adorned with esteemed guests, Sri, MSK Prasad renoened cricketer most recently the chief selector of BCCI, Prof. Sultan Ahmed Ismail an eminent educationist, Dr. Umesh Mahant Shetty, an oncologist of repute and Dr. Y. Sreenivas Rao a noted scientist followed by a heartfelt motivational and inspiring address to the gathering. The release of newsletter ‘Young Smiles’ and Prof. Ismail’s book ‘Worming My Way’ marked the event.
The cultural performances after the formals were a true reflection of the students’ diverse talents. From energetic dance performances representing various cultures to soul-stirring musical renditions, each act captivated the audience and showcased the hard work and dedication put forth by the students and their mentors.
The mime presented on ‘Save Water’ showcased a message on the importance of water, demonstrating the students’ ability to intertwine entertainment with essential life lessons. The ATL and art displays by students exhibited the school’s role in shaping young minds. The anchors were confident with the delivery of dialogues and handling mike.
The event also served as a platform to honor academic achievers, exceptional performers, and individuals who exhibited outstanding dedication in various fields. Awards and certificates were presented by the guests, acknowledging the students’ efforts and motivating them to strive for greater heights.
The presence of parents, guardians, and well-wishers added to the festivity of the evening. Their encouragement and support were evident in the cheers and applause that echoed throughout the performances, fostering a sense of community and shared pride in the achievements of the students.
