PAPAYA SEEDS DISTRIBUTION

Fruits are an excellent source of vitamins and minerals, and have proved beneficial in controlling the body weight. They are a part of a healthy eating pattern and a balance diet. On 22nd October 2022, Our school had distributed Papaya seeds to all the students, to help them understand the benefits of papaya fruit. Both the students and their parents had a great time while planting the papaya seeds in their gardens. We come to know this through the happy feedback given by our Prakashites.

I remember my grandmother had told me that Papaya fruit is very good for health and fitness. People often think that we can eat only papaya fruits and discard its seeds and favor the fruit’s sweet flesh. What they don’t realise is that the seeds are not only edible but also highly nutritious. Papaya seeds supply a hearty dose of fiber, they also help to reduce blood pressure and cholesterol levels in our body. I am glad that I have planted a papaya plant in my garden and I hope that this plant proves to be beneficial in the upcoming future, both for me and my parents.  I am excited and I am looking forward for this plant to grow as soon as possible. So that I would get to taste such yummy fruit (which is planted by me and my parents). I thank my School Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, the best school in Visakhapatnam for such, sweet little casing gesture.

Consumption of papaya is very beneficial for our body as it increases our appetite and strength. It is a rich source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Vitamin E. Papaya cures dengue, prevents cancer, promotes, heart health, strengthen, bones, eases menstrual pain and reduces sleep. It is one of the nutritious fruit that we all must include in our diet. Papaya because of its unique flavour also finds place in different recipes. It can also be a potentially healthy snack while compared to all other unhealthy junk foods. I am happy that my school has come up with such a brilliant idea, that would in turn promote good and healthy habits. I thank Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, the best CBSE school in Visakhapatnam for such a thoughtful plan.

Papaya is my favorite fruit and I was touched by this caring idea that was shown by our school management (by distributing Papaya seeds to the children). We all know that papayas contain high levels of antioxidants, Vitamin A, Vitamin C etc. I planted these seeds with the help of my parents and I had enjoyed a lot while doing so. I thank my school for this wonderful idea and initiation.
