Call for efforts to promote Telugu literature

Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan initiated a tie – up with Zee Learn Gakken Academy, Japan with the intention of improving conceptual understanding and developing scientific temper among the students by providing hands – on experiment tools.  In a programme organized at VUDA Children Theatre on 4TH February, Hirofumi Yumoto, the Head of Gakken Science Creation Institute, accompanied by Rajesh Pandya, Vice President (Asia), International Business Development acting as translator, Hiro Funami, General Manager, Overseas Business Division and Girish Nagpal, demonstrated several scientific experiments that could be done easily by hands with the help of the scientific kits supplied by the Japanese Academy.  The fascinating experiments had been readily comprehensible to the average student.  The Jambo Balloon experiment, proving that the air has weight, the air cannon that provides shape to the air, Gramophone recording, pattern of sounds were some of the experiments that attracted the attention of the audience.

Speaking on the out come of the tie – up.  Ch. Vasu Prakash, the Director of the school said that he was confident that the trail blazing experiments would help the students to develop interest on scientific learning by doing with their own hands.  He felt happy that his institute became the pioneering knowledge partner of the Academy in the state of Andhra Pradesh by means of which Japanese methods of scientific study at their best would be at the disposal of their students.  As every child is unique science learning by experimenting and experiencing will evoke enthusiasm and pave the way to become very much interested in Scientific Research that would lead to winning prizes of World Reputation.   At the end of the programme students, teachers and parents who attended were seemed to be moving into the realms of science.  The academy head was honoured by presenting with a momento.
